Sky Sports understands Brighton are closing in on the signing of Swansea's Stephen Dobbie.
Striker Dobbie has been expected to move away from the Liberty Stadium, with a number of suitors lining up a deal over the summer.
Blackpool wanted to bring the Scot, 29, back to Bloomfield Road after a successful loan spell last season, while SPL champions Celtic were also keen.
Dobbie insisted he wanted to fight for his place at Swansea following the arrival of new boss Michael Laudrup, who replaced Brendan Rodgers during the close season.
But he has failed to appear in either of the Swans' Premier League victories and now looks set to link up with Gus Poyet's men in the Championship.
Poyet has already captured one player from the Liberty Stadium on transfer deadline day, with Spanish attacking midfielder Andrea Orlandi making the same move.
