Defender set for season-long loan move to Holland

Sky Sports understands Dedryck Boyata has joined Dutch outfit FC Twente on a season-long loan from Premier League champions Manchester City. Manager Roberto Mancini has admitted he cannot guarantee the 21-year-old defender a starting role under him this season. And the player, who managed 14 appearances while out on loan at Bolton last season, is now set for another spell away from Eastlands. Steve McClaren's side, who currently sit at the top of the Eredivisie, have been keen to strengthen their squad as they look to challenge for the title. The Belgian star was also being tracked by Scottish Premier League champions Celtic, but FC Twente now looks his most likely destination.
