Bayern Munich have rebuffed speculation that Luiz Gustavo is set to leave the club.
Javi Martinez's arrival at the Allianz Arena from Athletic Bilbao had led to rumours that Gustavo, 25, may be on his way out of the Bavarian giants less than two years after joining from Hoffenheim.
The Brazilian has just under three years left on his current contract, and Matthias Sammer, Bayern director and former German international, has quashed talk of Gustavo leaving the club.
"Luiz Gustavo will stay on, this is a fact," Sammer told Sport BILD.
Gustavo also said he would not be going anywhere, adding: "I feel great being a Bayern Munich player. I absolutely enjoy it.
"I really did not think about leaving the club at any second."
