Jol keen on Baggies striker

Sky Sports understands Fulham have joined the list of Premier League clubs keeping tabs on Peter Odemwingie. The 31-year-old is being monitored by West Ham and Sunderland who have both expressed an interest in the West Brom striker. Fulham are bracing themselves for the departure of Clint Dempsey - their top scorer from last season - before the transfer window closes next week. Martin Jol has drawn up a list of possible alternatives and Odemwingie, who has scored 26 Premier League goals since arriving at The Hawthorns, figures quite highly. Qatari club Al-Gharrafa had a bid rejected for the Nigeria international earlier this season. Baggies boss Steve Clarke now faces a fight to hold onto his striker but the Midlands outfit are determined he will only leave if their valuation is met.
