Westley baffled by Morgan stay

Preston manager Graham Westley has branded Craig Morgan's decision to reject a move away from Deepdale as "bizarre".

Morgan is one of three senior players currently available for transfer at North End alongside Iain Hume and Keammar Daley. Westley confirmed each of the trio has attracted interest from other clubs, but defender Morgan is the only one to turn down a concrete offer from an unnamed side. "There's been interest in each of the three lads," Westley said. "The situation with each of them, as you come to the end of the transfer window, evolves by the day. "Morgan has turned down a move, which is particularly bizarre for a player that decided in the first place he didn't want to be a part of what's going on here. He doesn't want to be a part of it, doesn't want to play. A difficult one to get your head around. "Humey, Keammar, yes there's been interest, there's been discussions and we'll see how those things unfold."
