West Brom boss Steve Clarke says there is more to come from new signing Claudio Yacob after his impressive showing against Liverpool.
The Argentina international joined the Baggies this summer from Racing and looks to have made a seamless transition to life in the Premier League.
Yacob held his own against England captain Steven Gerrard last weekend when he faced Liverpool in West Beom's 3-0 home win.
His display was of little surprise to Clarke who believes his new signing possesses the attributes which will see him flourish in the English game.
"He's settling in very well," Clarke told the club's official website.
"The Argentinians have a great mentality. They're a strong nation and the players tend to settle in well.
"It's a similar game - a tough, physical league over there. He and Youssouf Mulumbu were really good at the weekend.
"I think he's shown in training and the games that he's played that he is what we thought we'd get - he's an Argentinian No.5, who breaks up play and keeps the ball for his team.
"That's the characteristics for that position and it's what he's done."
