Steve Kean: The Blackburn Rovers manager insists he is getting on well with Shebby Singh
Steve Kean insists there is no rift at Blackburn Rovers between himself and the club's global advisor Shebby Singh after the pair recently made peace.
Singh issued a public apology for remarks he made about Kean and midfielder Morten Gamst Pedersen in a fans' forum days before the start of the season.
One of Singh's comments at the meeting was that Kean would be sacked if Rovers lost three consecutive games early in the season.
Despite drawing their first game, Kean has shrugged off any suggestion that he is under pressure for results in order to keep his job.
"We are getting on fine," said Kean. "Obviously Shebby had a press conference or a get-together with some fans and some things were said.
"But we are only focused on games, points and team spirit and we have got that in abundance. The dressing room is very united and the players that have come in have done well.
"We have got some good types and if you get the right types you will have a strong dressing room.
"The team spirit is backed up by every individual player in the team and I think that was there to see on Saturday when were under the cosh towards the end of the game.
"Everybody is under pressure to get results and that is part of the job. It is a part of the job that you have to enjoy."
