Swedish striker could make debut against Spurs

West Brom boss Steve Clarke is ready to unleash summer signing Markus Rosenberg on the Premier League, with the striker all set to make his debut. The Sweden international was left out of the Baggies' plans on the opening day as they crushed Liverpool 3-0 at The Hawthorns. Clarke felt the Reds clash had come too soon for a man still adjusting to life in a new country and a new division. Another week of training will, however, have Rosenberg ready to make his bow at White Hart Lane against Tottenham on Saturday. "Markus didn't even make the squad at the weekend," Clarke told the club's official website.

Electric

"He was probably just a week too late joining us. "If he'd been a week earlier, Markus would have made my job even more difficult. He's coming on, he's great. "We had a training session with the substitutes and the players who weren't involved on Sunday. Markus was electric in training, so he's looking good. "He'll be in the travelling party to go to Tottenham."
