Leeds boss Neil Warnock fears new signing Paul Green could face an injury lay-off after damaging his knee against Wolves.
Green was forced off towards the end of the first half in Saturday's 1-0 opening day victory at Elland Road.
Although Leeds are awaiting the results of a scan, Warnock is not too hopeful for the Republic of Ireland international.
"It is worse than we thought," said Warnock, quoted in the Daily Mirror.
"We are waiting for the results of Paul's scan, but I don't think it is going to be good.
"We could lose him for a few weeks."
The 29-year-old midfielder joined the club on a free transfer after leaving Derby in the summer.
