Moses talk annoys Martinez

Image: Roberto Martinez: Thinks having the transfer window open during the season is unfair

Wigan boss Roberto Martinez claims there are no new offers for Victor Moses and called for the transfer window to shut when the season starts.

Transfer window is disrespectful to fans, says Wigan manager

Wigan boss Roberto Martinez claims there are no new offers for Victor Moses and called for the transfer window to shut when the season starts. Moses has been linked with a move to Chelsea for much of the summer with club owner Dave Whelan confirming that the Latics have turned down numerous bids for the forward. But it would appear the Blues have not come back with a figure matching Wigan's near £10million valuation for the 21-year-old and Martinez hopes that is the end of the matter. The Spaniard told Sky Sports: "I don't think that's an issue at all. We haven't got that decision to make. There are no offers on the table matching his valuation so it's a very easy answer. "Unfortunately you've got the window open while the games are going on. I think the authorities should look into it, I think it's very unfair for the human side of the footballer. "We should just close the window before the games start. It's disrespectful to the fans and to the game itself."
