Johnstone's Paint Trophy draw

JPT holders Chesterfield have been handed a home tie in first round draw

The first round draw for the Johnstone's Paint Trophy has been made and defending champions Chesterfield have been handed at home tie against League One Oldham.

The Spireites defeated Swindon Town in last year's final, 2-0 and will look to keep hold of the trophy which they won for the first time in their history at Wembley.

Paolo Di Canio's Robins travel to Oxford United, while in the pick of the other ties Coventry host Burton Albion and Portsmouth take on south coast rivals Bournemouth.
