City boss confident that Blues will do more business soon

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini insists he has no problem with Brian Marwood over the Blues' transfer business. Marwood handles City's player recruitment in his role as football administrator, but Mancini had expressed his frustration at City's lack of new signings just before Jack Rodwell's arrival from Everton. Rodwell remains the only new face in Mancini's squad since their title win in May, and one major target in Robin van Persie opted to move to the red half of Manchester by joining United. However Mancini is confident that City will do more business in the current transfer window, and played down talk of a rift with Marwood. "What I said last time was not because I had a problem with Brian - I don't," Mancini said. "But when you are a manager, you want maybe sometimes to buy a player quickly. At the same time I know it is difficult because the market is difficult. "It was important to start with one (signing) and now it is important to think about the game on Sunday. "Then we have about 10 days until the end of the market and I think we will do (more business) - I am sure."
