Jordan Rhodes admitted scoring his first goal for Scotland on his full international debut was a dream come true.
The Huddersfield striker, 22, netted the equaliser in Scotland's 3-1 friendly win against Australia at Easter Road on Wednesday.
Rhodes stooped to meet Danny Fox's cross with a brilliant diving header to cancel out Mark Bresciano's opener, before an own goal from Australia substitute Jason Davidson and Ross McCormack's late strike sealed an impressive comeback by Craig Levein's men.
Goosebumps
Rhodes, whose only previous appearance came as a substitute against Cyprus last year, said: "You dream of starting for your country and walking out in front of the fans and hearing the national anthem.
"It gave me goosebumps before the start of the match and it was a fantastic feeling.
"I am delighted. I didn't know too much about it at the time but it was a good delivery in by Danny Fox and I was delighted to see it go in.
"I tried to get myself in the position where the ball might drop and sometimes as a striker it does go in."
