AC Milan are showing significant interest in Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner, according to Sky Sports sources.
The Denmark international is for sale at Emirates Stadium after spending last season on loan at Sunderland but time is running out ahead of the transfer deadline.
Bendtner's demands of UEFA Champions League football, a regular first-team place and easy access to London to visit his family are rumoured to be causing problems.
However, Milan will be playing in the European Cup in the new season and Italy is only a short flight away from the United Kingdom.
The Serie A heavyweights could therefore appeal to Bendtner and his hopes of first-team football would be boosted given the summer departure of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and retirement of Filippo Inzaghi.
