Matheus Vivian: Opted against a move to Blackpool to join PAOK
Blackpool have missed out on experienced Brazilian Matheus Vivian after he opted to join Greek outfit PAOK.
The 30-year-old was offered a deal by the Championship club after impressing during a trial period, but the lure of Europa League football has tempted the sought-after defender to move to PAOK
Vivian boasts a wealth of experience having played in Brazil, Germany, Spain and France, where he has skippered his last three clubs in Grenoble, FC Metz and Nantes.
The Seasiders were keen to lure the centre-half to England as they look to seal a return to the Premier League, but they will now have to look elsewhere in order to strengthen.
