Sky Sports understands that Swansea are among a number of Premier League clubs considering a move for Blackpool midfielder Ludovic Sylvestre.
Sylvestre has been at Bloomfield Road since 2010, having played for Barcelona earlier in his career and also spent time at Sparta Prague and Mlada Boleslav.
He has just one year remaining on his contract with the Seasiders, though, and has been linked with a switch elsewhere.
He is believed to be attracting interest from several clubs in the top flight, with Swansea very much part of the chasing pack.
Michael Laudrup has expressed a desire to bring in further reinforcements before the end of the transfer window, and midfield is a target area following Joe Allen's move to Liverpool.
