The 30-year-old striker is currently a free agent after being released by Gillingham, having previously played for the likes of Torquay, Brentford, Bournemouth and Bristol Rovers.
His availability has not gone unnoticed in the Football League as he would be a valuable asset for whoever manages to secure a deal.
And it is believed that discussions have now begun over a possible switch to Leyton Orient.
