Aston Villa winger Marc Albrighton will miss several weeks of the new Premier League season because of a foot injury.
Villa made the announcement on their official website on Friday, revealing that the 22-year-old will be out of all footballing action until at least October.
Albrighton broke a metatarsal in the first week of pre-season training and has been wearing a protective boot.
The Englishman joins forward Gabriel Agbonlahor and defender Richard Dunne on the sidelines.
Villa will begin their Premier League campaign with an away game against West Ham United on Sunday, 18th August.
