Wolves midfielder Jamie O'Hara is hoping he could be fit to start the new season after having an injection in his hip.
O'Hara endured a frustrating 2011/12 season due to injury and was restricted to just 19 Premier League appearances as Wolves suffered relegation from the top flight.
He featured only five times after mid-December before the former Tottenham Hotspur man eventually underwent a groin operation in April.
The 25-year-old is now focusing on regaining full fitness and is keen to be available to new Wolves boss Stale Solbakken as quickly as possible.
O'Hara tweeted: "Hip injection went well today so that's a big positive hopefully after follow up scan and injection could be fit to start the season.
"The only thing I'm concentrating on getting back to 100% to put on a wolves shirt and give the fans the performances they want to see."
Wolves entertain Aldershot Town in the first round of the Capital One Cup on Saturday before opening the new Championship campaign away to Leeds United a week later.
