Oldham have completed the signing of teenage striker Jordan Slew from Blackburn on a six-month loan deal ahead of the season.

Blackburn paid Sheffield United £1million for the highly-rated 19-year-old last summer but Slew's first-team opportunities have so far been limited to just two substitute appearances at Ewood Park. Slew spent four months on loan at Stevenage in the latter half of last season where he made nine appearances. Prior to joining Blackburn, the striker notched three goals in 14 matches for the Blades.
