West Brom boss Steve Clarke is optimistic Chris Brunt and Steven Reid will be fit for the start of the season.
Brunt had to leave Albion's pre-season tour of Scandinavia early after he complained about a calf injury, while Reid has been troubled by a slight niggle.
Liverpool will be the guests at The Hawthorns in just 10 days' time for the start of the Premier League season and Clarke wants his best players available for that clash.
Trained
"Steven is still out and didn't train with the group yesterday but I'm hopeful he will play a part today," the Baggies manager told the club's official website.
"Chris trained with the group yesterday, which is good, so fingers crossed we will get to the start of the season with a fully fit group.
"That's the aim. Everyone else is fine."
