Francisco Sandaza: Former St Johnstone striker has signed a three-year contract with Rangers
Rangers have wrapped up the double signing of former St Johnstone striker Francisco Sandaza and Brazilian defender Emilson Cribari.
Sandaza has been a long-term target for Gers and saw a move to Ibrox during the January transfer window fall through.
He left St Johnstone when his contract expired earlier in the summer and has now agreed a three-year deal to link up with Rangers.
The Spaniard scored 18 goals for Saints last term and could make his Rangers debut in Tuesday night's League Cup tie against East Fife.
Gers boss Ally McCoist has also finalised the signing of Cribari on a two-year contract after he had flown in to Glasgow over the weekend.
Cribari trained with Rangers on Monday and the former Lazio and Udinese defender has now been added to McCoist's squad.
Sandaza and Cribari's arrivals are the latest boost for McCoist, who is busy trying to enhance his squad before a transfer embargo comes into effect.
Meanwhile, former Wales international Robbie Savage now says he is unlikely to come out of retirement to play for Rangers.
The 37-year-old tweeted: "Just a quick update on rangers the offer is there and it will remain all season ally has my number and knows if he needs me I'll be there !
"But it's not going to happen at this moment, they have a good squad for div 3, and don't need an old codger like me ! Lol".
