Jamaica international excited by challenge of playing for Leeds

Leeds United's new signing Rodolph Austin intends to play a pivotal part in the club's drive to reach the Premier League. The 27-year-old Jamaica international is among a cluster of fresh arrivals at Elland Road over the summer. Austin joins the Championship side after four years with SK Brann, where previous mooted moves to Stoke and QPR failed to materialise. However, the midfielder is enthused at the prospect of playing for such a well-supported club.

Forward

"It feels very good to be here and I'm looking forward to it," Austin told the club's official website. "I'd heard about it (the interest) and knew it would be a good move. "It's a big club with fans all over, and the club is trying to get back in the Premier League so the possibilities are very nice. The club is going forward and I want to be a part of it."
