Veteran midfielder Michael Brown has signed a new one-year contract with Leeds United.
The 35-year-old was offered the new deal at the end of last season after enjoying an extended run in the team under Neil Warnock, who took over in February.
Brown knows Warnock well from their time together at Sheffield United and believes the team spirit forged at Elland Road could propel Leeds to a successful season.
"I'm delighted to sign the contract and get things sorted," Brown told the club's official website.
"The gaffer has made a lot of changes over the summer and I'm looking forward to being a part of things. There's a great spirit here and everything has gone well in pre-season.
"The gaffer has brought some good players in, and there is plenty of competition, but I'm more than up for the challenge and will hopefully play a part in a successful Leeds United side."
