Midfielder Nicky Featherstone is relishing the prospect of life in League One after signing for Walsall.
The former Hull youngster has put in some impressive displays in Hereford's engine room recently, but is now looking to shine on a bigger stage.
"This is a good opportunity for me," midfielder Featherstone told Walsall's official website. "I'm very impressed with the whole set-up at the club. It's an excellent environment to progress, working under two good coaches who do things the right way.
"There is a nice balance of youth and experience in the team, which is important, and we are able to go out there and express ourselves and play our own game.
"From a personal point of view, I'm looking forward to testing myself at a higher level against better teams and players. It's going to be a good challenge."
