Goalkeeper Marco Amelia has insisted he is happy at AC Milan and wants to finish his career with the Italian club.
Amelia has been linked with a move away from Milan this summer and Middlesbrough were reportedly interested in bringing him to The Riverside.
However, Amelia has made it clear that he is not looking to move abroad and hopes to make an important contribution for the Rossoneri after working hard over the summer.
He admits it would have been wonderful to play for hometown club Roma, but at the age of 30 he is now committed to spending the rest of his playing days at the San Siro.
He told calciomercato.com: "I will remain in Italy.
"I'm very satisfied with my pre-season. This is my third year at AC Milan and here you can work with the best.
"I am very well at AC Milan and I hope to finish my career here, even if it's obvious that, being born in Rome, I've always had the dream to wear the Roma shirt."
