Cardiff City have completed a deal for experienced frontman Heidar Helguson, with the 34-year-old joining for an undisclosed fee from Queens Park Rangers.
Helguson has penned a one-year contract with the Bluebirds.
He passed a medical and agreed personal terms on Thursday and will link up with his new team-mates for the first time on Friday.
Helguson spent last season turning out in the Premier League with QPR, netting nine times.
He has, however, jumped at the opportunity to link up with an ambitious Championship outfit in the form of Cardiff.
The former Iceland international could make his Bluebirds bow in a pre-season friendly date with Oxford United on Saturday.
