AS Roma have completed the signing of striker Mattia Destro as a replacement for Fabio Borini who has left for Liverpool.
The Giallorossi have been chasing Destro for some time and his impending arrival was believed to be part of the thinking behind allowing Borini to leave.
The 21-year-old netted 12 goals for Siena last season and has attracted interest from Juventus, AC Milan and Inter this summer.
But Roma have been able to do a deal with Genoa to sign the Italy Under-21 international, initially on loan but with a permanent transfer expected next summer.
He now joins Michael Bradley and Dodo among the club's new arrivals under coach Zdenek Zeman
