Lee Clark is confident he can hang on to the rest of his players as he plans his first season in charge of Birmingham City.

Chris Burke and Curtis Davies have both been linked with moves away from the club this summer after the club failed to get promotion to the Premier League under Chris Hughton.

Their defeat to Blackpool in the play-offs followed by the departure of Hughton to Norwich and the permanent move of Ben Foster to West Brom sparked fears of an exodus of players.

But Clark believes the players are happy to stay at the club following his appointment and played down any concerns of players jumping ship.

"I am quite cool, relaxed about it," he said in the Birmingham Mail. "I am not concerned in any way, shape or form.

"The lads are fine, they are all working extremely hard and we're not fielding any inquiries. So we're happy.

"In terms of any players coming in - possibly one more."
