Vladimir Weiss could be close to the exit at the Etihad Stadium after Pescara confirmed they are interested in signing the winger. The 22-year-old Slovakian starlet shot to fame as the star of Manchester City's FA Youth cup winning side of 2008. But Weiss has failed to break into the first team and spent last season on loan at Espanyol. The newly-promoted Serie A side are looking at a number of players to strengthen their side including Brescia's Brazilian striker Jonathas and could offer him a way out of City after Espanyol failed to make his stay permanent over the summer. "There is great interest in Jonathas and Weiss," confirmed Pescara sporting director Daniele Delli Carri. "We are still discussing their arrival. "Jonathas is a very strong striker and Weiss is a winger who can play both on the right and left side. These are two very interesting players who can still grow."
