Swansea record an emphatic pre-season victory over Port Talbot, as Norwich were beaten and Fulham played out a draw with Kaiserslautern.
Stephen Dobbie was the star for Swansea as they demolished Port Talbot 5-0 in Micahel Laudrup's first game in charge.
The Scottish forward was joined on the scoresheet by Leroy Lita and Henry Jones.
New Norwich manager Chris Hughton did not have quite such an enjoyable first match at the helm as his Canaries went down 3-2 to Hertha Berlin in Austria.
James Vaughan scored twice for Norwich but Elias Kachunga went one better for Hertha as he notched a hat-trick.
Mladen Petric's brace helped Fulham to a 2-2 draw with Kaiserslautern.
Ilian Micanski and Albert Bunjaku gave the German outfit a two-goal cushion inside 14 minutes, but summer signing Petric scored either side of half-time to earn Martin Jol's side a draw.
Bolton's poor pre-season form continued as Andy Ryan helped Hamilton to a 2-0 win at New Douglas Park.
Charlie Austin struck twice as Burnley beat Blue Square Bet North side Altrincham 4-1 in their pre-season friendly at Moss Lane.
Huddersfield's pre-season schedule got off to an ignominious start as they were beaten 1-0 by Blue Square Bet North outfit Guiseley at the Nethermoor Stadium.
Hibernian suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat in their friendly against Jupiler League side Oud-Heverlee Leuven in Belgium.
Dundee United left it late before edging past Raith as goals from Keith Watson and Brian McLean secured a 2-1 win at Starks Park.
Paul McGowan scored the only goal of the game as St Mirren retained the Renfrewshire Cup with a 1-0 victory over Morton at Cappielow Park.
