Defender Bongani Khumalo has joined PAOK on a season-long loan deal from Tottenham.

The South Africa international has spent previous spells at Preston and Reading before completing his move to the Greek Super League side on Tuesday.

Khumalo joined Tottenham in January 2011 from South African partner club Supersport United.

The 25-year-old is yet to make an appearance for Spurs and the latest loan move suggests his days at White Hart Lane could be coming to an end.

New manager Andre Villas-Boas is sure to want to make changes to the squad and he has elected to move forward for the new season without the services of Khumalo.
