Sky Sports understands Akos Buzsaky is in talks with Nottingham Forest and Bristol City after leaving Queens Park Rangers.
Buzsaky exited QPR last week after failing to agree terms on a new contract, bringing his four-year-stay at Loftus Road to an end.
But the 30-year-old midfielder appears set to stay in England and has attracted interest from Championship sides keen to acquire a player who scored twice in the Premier League last season.
Forest are currently managerless after sacking Steve Cotterill, but are still believed to have opened talks with the Hungary international.
Bristol City are also interested in the former Porto man who is set to consider his options before committing to a new club.
Buzsaky has also been linked with moves to West Ham, Cardiff and Blackpool since leaving the Hoops.
