Swansea manager Michael Laudrup is confident his two new signings Jose Manuel Flores and Jonathan de Guzman will give everything for the club.
Laudrup made his first move in the transfer market since taking over as manager at the Liberty Stadium on Tuesday with the double signing of centre-back Flores, more commonly known as Chico, from Genoa and midfielder De Guzman on a season-long loan from Villarreal.
Both players previously worked with the Danish boss during his time in charge of Mallorca and he believes they will fit in well at Swansea.
He told the Swans' official website: "I can guarantee that we have two players who will give everything from the first day.
"I know Chico and I know what he can do for us. I think it's a very important signing. He has a lot of experience from the Spanish and Italian leagues.
"He can play good football, but he is also physical and aggressive. In fact, he could have been born here in Swansea rather than in the south of Spain!
"I think with the position the team and the club are in at the moment, it's important to bring in some experience of the highest level.
"He is a great signing for us, as is Jonathan, who is another player who has the quality and motivation, which is important.
"He is a box-to-box player. He receives and moves the ball, can play in small spaces, so I think he will fit in perfectly with this team.
"He will suit the style here because he is used to that kind of football. He is an offensive player, but he can also play anywhere in midfield which can give you some alternatives."
