Sky Sports understands former Southend midfielder Lee Sawyer could be set for a move to Holland with ADO Den Haag.
Sawyer is looking for a new club after leaving Southend at the end of last season.
The 22-year-old has been invited over to Holland by ADO Den Haag for a trial as they look to cast an eye over him in pre-season training.
The former Chelsea youngster is thought to have impressed the ADO Den Haag coaching staff and they are now preparing an offer to bring him to the Eredivisie.
A number of English clubs are thought to have expressed an interest in Sawyer, but it appears ADO Den Haag are in pole position to land the former England youth international.
