Serie A outfit Roma deem Marco Borriello to be surplus to requirements and have made the striker available for transfer.
The 30-year-old forward does not figure in coach Zdenek Zeman's plans for next season.
He is currently in pre-season training with the capital club, having returned from a loan spell at Juventus, but has been made aware that they will listen to offers for his services.
"We have placed Borriello on the transfer list and he is well aware of it," Roma sporting director Walter Sabatini told Gazzetta dello Sport.
Borriello is said to be a summer target for Genoa and Fiorentina, but both clubs consider his wages to be a stumbling block.
The former AC Milan player earns €5.4million (£4.3m) per season and is under contract until June 2015.
