Sky Sports understands Swansea have flown Jonathan de Guzman and Chico Flores into Wales as they close in on their signings.
New Swansea boss Michael Laudrup has lined up a double move for Villarreal attacker De Guzman and Genoa defender Flores.
Laudrup is a big admirer of the pair having worked with them during his time in charge of Real Mallorca.
Villarreal are resigned to losing De Guzman following their relegation from the Primera Liga and Laudrup is hoping to lure the Canadian-born schemer to the Premier League.
Swansea are thought to be weighing up whether to sign De Guzman on a permanent deal or initially on loan with a view to a full-time switch.
Laudrup has targeted Flores to help fill the void left by Steven Caulker's return to Tottenham following his successful loan spell in South Wales last season.
Swansea are set to hold talks with both players over the weekend as they look to tie up their signatures in the next few days.
