Inter Milan goalkeeper Julio Cesar has rubbished reports he will leave the Serie A club this summer.
The 32-year-old has been linked with a move away from Inter as the Nerazzurri are close to signing Samir Handanovic.
Udinese confirmed on Wednesday they had agreed a deal to sell the Slovenian keeper to Inter.
But Julio Cesar, who has made 299 appearances for the Nerazzurri since joining them in 2005, insists he will fight for his place.
"Handanovic is a good goalkeeper," the Brazil international told Sky Italia.
"If he joins Inter, it is only because he is good. This would be the best for us as we would have three great goalkeepers.
"I have a contract until 2014. I will stay and play for my position, then the coach will decide. Inter have a great squad."
Julio Cesar is a reported target of Manchester United and Roma having won the Scudetto five times with Inter, as well as the 2009/10 Champions League.
