Blackburn Rovers have sealed the signing of Portuguese striker Nuno Gomes on a free transfer.
Gomes has signed a two-year deal at Ewood Park after passing a medical and agreeing personal terms.
The 35-year-old arrives at Blackburn on a free transfer after leaving Braga at the end of last season.
Gomes is Blackburn's third signing of the summer following the arrivals of Danny Murphy and Leon Best.
Rovers boss Steve Kean has moved for Gomes to try and fill the void left by Yakubu Aiyegbeni's departure to China
