Joel Campbell is poised to spend another season away from the Emirates with Spanish side Real Betis close to agreeing a loan deal with Arsenal.
The 20-year-old, who joined the Gunners from hometown team Deportivo Saprissa in 2011, spent last season getting some valuable game time in France with Ligue 1 outfit Lorient as he was unable to obtain a work permit in the UK.
And now the Costa Rican is preparing to test himself against the likes of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo with Betis after again failing to get clearance to play in the Premier League.
"It is a great opportunity for me to grow," he said on Fox TV.
"I am going to the world's best league, and I want to play. I want to show what I am capable of."
