Thiago Silva has ended speculation over his future by signing a new deal with AC Milan.
The Brazilian was strongly linked with a move to Paris St Germain earlier this summer, only for Milan to reject their overtures by turning down a sizeable bid for the central defender.
Milan have moved to secure Silva's long-term future by extending his contract for a further year until 2017.
The South American has also been handed a pay increase as a result of extending his stay at the San Siro.
Silva joined AC Milan from Fluminense in December 2008 and has established himself as a key player for the Rossoneri.
