Defender Kevin Kilbane is training with Coventry with a view to signing for Andy Thorn's side ahead of the new season.
The former Republic of Ireland international, 35, joined the Sky Blues for their first day of pre-season training despite interest from a number of other clubs. Kilbane is a versatile performer in the defensive line as well as the midfield and is officially a free agent after leaving Hull. "Kevin is having a look at us and we're having a look at him and I have to say he looks as fit as a butcher's dog," manager Thorn told the Coventry Telegraph. "He's told me he just wants to enjoy his football and he came off the training pitch with a big smile on his face and told me he'd really enjoyed it. "He's an experienced head who can play in a number of positions, including full-back and central midfield, and I know he will be good to have in the dressing room as well."
