Striker will not be crossing Milan divide

The agent of Inter Milan striker Diego Forlan has rubbished reports suggesting his client could cross the city and sign for AC Milan. It has been claimed the Rossoneri would be willing to take Forlan from their arch-rivals. The Uruguayan international did not enjoy the best of debut seasons in Italy last term, with the target found just twice in 14 appearances. Forlan does, however, have a reputation as a consistent goal-getter from his time in Spain with Villarreal and Atletico Madrid. AC Milan believe they could bring the best out of the 33-year-old, but his representative insists there is no chance of him swapping sides at Giuseppe Meazza.

Waiting

Daniel Bolotnicoff has also played down rumours claiming Forlan could be tempted to Turkey by Fenerbahce. He told tuttomercatoweb.com: "Forlan to AC Milan? That is not an option for my client. It is not something we will think about. "A move to Turkey? Not at the moment. "We will see in the next few days what will happen with Diego."
