Frederic Kanoute is thinking over a possible move to China but may also ply his trade in the United States or Middle East next season.
The former West Ham and Tottenham striker is looking for a new club after leaving Sevilla following seven seasons and 135 goals with the Spanish side.
Kanoute, 34, travelled to China last week to discuss a possible transfer to Beijing Guoan but admits he could also play in the US or Middle East.
He said: "I went to China to discuss an offer I have got from the Chinese club. I am delighted with what I heard.
"However, I have a lot of offers on the table at the moment and fingers crossed I will make the right choice."
As regards former Chelsea striker Didier Drogba also playing in China, Kanoute added: "It is fantastic for China. That will make their football attractive.
"Football has developed everywhere nowadays - all leagues are now very competitive.
"My career is not finished yet, I can still play at the top level. I am looking forward to next season either in the Middle East or China or the United States."
