Inverness manager Terry Butcher is delighted Wales midfielder Owain Tudur Jones has signed a new one-year contract.
The former Swansea and Norwich player, who has six caps for Wales, suffered a six-month lay-off with a knee injury in his debut season at Caley.
But Jones did enough to convince Butcher to offer him a new deal and the Inverness boss thinks the midfielder can be a good influence at the club.
Butcher said: "Our fans didn't see the best of Owain last season because of injury. But I'm confident that with the right preparation, he'll really show what he can do this time round.
"Owain's big, strong and comfortable on the ball and has great presence in the dressing room. He's a big help to the younger players so we're delighted he's staying."
