Prem club keen on Czech defender, but is talking with Sevilla

The agent of Tomas Sivok says his client is in talks with Sevilla, but claims a Premier League club have also expressed an interest. The versatile 28-year-old formed part of the Czech Republic squad at Euro 2012, and impressed during their run through to the quarter-final stage. He is available as a free agent after seeing his contract at Besiktas run down and is in the process of weighing up his options. He has spent the last four years in Turkey, but has offered no indication that he is willing to discuss an extension to that stay. Instead, he has allowed his representative to open talks with Primera Liga outfit Sevilla, while keeping the door ajar from any other interested parties. "We have opened official talks with Sevilla and would like to have things sorted out as soon as possible," Jiri Mueller told CTK. "We also have registered interest from a club in the Premier League and Besiktas have come back into the race as they want to keep Tomas."
