Ligue 1 outfit turn to former Brest boss
Alex Dupont is to take the managerial reins at Ligue 1 outfit Ajaccio following the resignation of Olivier Pantaloni.
Pantaloni quit his post in early June, having guided the club to top-flight safety in 2011/12.
Ajaccio have moved quickly to fill their coaching void, and have turned to former Brest boss Dupont.
He was sacked by Brest towards the end of last season, but has secured an immediate return to the dugout.
Experienced
He is poised to pen a two-year contract with Ajaccio.
"He knows Ligue 1 and is experienced," ACA chairman Alain Orsoni told L'Equipe.
"He is a coach that I did not know personally, but I was told only good things about him.
"To me, a good working relationship will be essential."
