Millwall winger Hameur Bouazza has turned down a move to Omonia Nicosia, Sky Sports understands.

The Algeria international moved to The Den in January 2011, initially on loan from Arles-Avignon, but he impressed enough to earn a two-year deal.

Bouazza featured over 30 times for the Lions last term, but he looks set for a summer exit from the club.

Cypriot outfit Omonia made a move to land the 27-year-old wide-man.

However, Sky Sports understands the former Watford and Fulham player has opted against the chance of joining Omonia.
