West Ham co-owner David Gold has revealed that Robert Green is set to leave the club this summer on a free transfer.
Green, who is in the England squad for Euro 2012, is out of contract and it appears he has rejected the offer of a new deal.
Gold posted a message on his Twitter account, which read: "Robert Green is a free agent he has chosen to move on.
"Nobody wants Rob to leave but nothing is for ever, he must do what is best for him and we must do what is best for us."
West Brom and Queens Park Rangers have both been linked with a move for Green as they search for new goalkeepers.
Green joined West Ham from Norwich in 2006 and made over 200 appearances for the Hammers, playing a key role in their return to the Premier League this year.
Jussi Jaaskelainen has been touted as a possible replacement for Green at Upton Park, while David Stockdale has also been linked.
