Sky Sports understands Birmingham goalkeeper Colin Doyle has been offered a new deal to stay at St Andrews.
Doyle is officially out of contract at Birmingham and could leave the club on a free transfer.
The 26-year-old made 16 appearances for Birmingham this season, but found himself playing understudy to Boaz Myhill.
Birmingham have now moved to try and secure Doyle's future on a new deal with Myhill due to return to West Brom following the end of his loan spell as part of the deal that saw Ben Foster move to The Hawthorns.
Doyle is thought to be mulling over Birmingham's contract offer with a number of Championship clubs chasing his services.
The Irishman is weighing up his options as he wants to be playing regular first-team football next season.
